If frozen, thaw bags of Meati Steaks or Meati Chick’n in fridge for 12 hours or overnight before cooking and use within two days of thawing. If product arrives unfrozen, store in fridge and use within two days. Do not refreeze. Cook thoroughly before serving.
GRILLING

MEATI CHICK’N

GRILLING

  1. Preheat grill to medium-low at least 30 minutes prior to cooking.

  2. Brush Meati Chick’n with oil (high temp oils like Avocado, Sunflower, etc. are preferred) on both sides.

  3. Lightly season each side of Meati Chick’n with your favorite seasoning. Use very little salt as Meati Chick’n enhances flavors.

  4. Brush grill with oil to keep Meati Chick’n from sticking.

  5. Add Meati Chick’n and grill 5-6 min per side. Cook time may vary depending on equipment. Meati Chick’n will be lightly browned on the outside when cooked.  Always cook to an internal temperature of 165°F.

  6. Remove the Meati Chick’n from grill and let it rest for 1-2 minutes.

  7. Slice your Meati Chick’n with a sharp knife. Hold the Meati Chick’n in place with your hand or fork and slice like you would steak. 

PAN SEARING

  1. Lightly season each side of Meati Chick’n with your favorite seasoning. Use very little salt as Meati Chick’n enhances flavors.

  2. Heat pan to medium-low and add 1 TBS oil (high temp oils like Avocado, Sunflower, etc. are preferred).

  3. Once oil is hot, add Meati Chick’n and sear 5-6 min per side. Cook time may vary depending on equipment. If Meati Chick’n soaks up all oil in first 3 min, add additional oil to pan between flipping. Meati Chick’n will be lightly browned on the outside when cooked.  Always cook to an internal temperature of 165°F.

  4. Remove Meati Chick’n from the pan and let it rest for 1-2 minutes.

  5. Slice your Meati Chick’n with a sharp knife. Hold the Meati Chick’n in place with your hand or fork and slice like you would steak.

If Meati Steak soaks up all oil in first 3 min, add additional oil to pan between flipping. Meati Steaks will be light brownish-red on the outside and remain red on the inside when cooked. 

  4. Remove Meati Steak from the pan and let it rest for 1-3 minutes.

  5. Slice your Meati Steak with a sharp steak knife. Hold the Meati Steak in place with your hand or fork and slice like you would steak.
